CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A Mount Olive man is accused of stealing a farm tractor earlier this summer in Craven County.
Craven County deputies have charged Nicholas Herring with felony larceny of a motor vehicle.
The John Deere tractor, valued at $55,000, was stolen on June 24th and was owned by Quality Equipment, according to warrants. Deputies say it was found by Duplin County deputies a couple of days later.
The 39-year-old Herring was released on a written promise to appear in court. His next court date is August 28th.
