LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Gage County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in finding the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning.

The Gage County Sheriff’s Office was called to a crash after midnight on Highway 4 just east of Southwest 45th Road.

A pedestrian was killed in the crash, and the driver of the vehicle drove away from the scene without reporting the incident or rendering aid to the victim.

The next of kin of the deceased have been notified.
