A weak area of low pressure will move south of the North Carolina coast Sunday into Monday bringing increasing rain chances.

We’ll see plenty of clouds on Sunday with scattered afternoon showers and storms building in. Highs Sunday will peak in the muggy mid 80s.

Heading into next week, we’ll see another round of afternoon showers and storms on Monday before high pressure starts to rebuild into the middle of next week with lower rain chances and hotter temps Tuesday through Thursday.

As for any tropical trouble for ENC, no tropical issues are expected in the Carolinas through the next week.
