A weak area of low pressure will move south of the North Carolina coast Monday bringing widespread showers. Isolated rumbles of thunder will accompany the showers, but severe storms are unlikely.
High pressure starts to rebuild into the middle of the week with lower rain chances and hotter temps Wednesday through Friday.
As for any tropical trouble for ENC, no tropical issues are expected in the Carolinas through the next week.

Hatteras Point southward through Crystal Coast: Low risk
