PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) - Authorities in Paducah, Kentucky, have arrested two people in connection with a shooting at a nightclub overnight on Saturday.

According to the Paducah Police Department, Jystacye D. Pitts and Capus J. Adams are facing charges after officers responded to multiple gunshots in the 900 block of Boyd Street at around 3:05 a.m. on August 9.

Pitts has been charged with first-degree wanton endangerment after he admitted to firing a gun in a crowded area.

Adams has been charged with multiple offenses after officers saw him shooting in the direction of several people. Adams also ran from the officers, throwing out his gun during the chase. He was quickly arrested, and the weapon was recovered.
