CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Greater Cleveland Peace Officer Memorial hosted its 17th annual COPS RIDE ceremony Sunday, honoring four Ohio law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty over the past year.

More than 300 motorcyclists participated in the processional ride from the police officer memorial to Rock N Roll City Harley-Davidson store, showing their support for fallen officers and their families.

C.O.P.S. was organized in 1984 to rebuild the shattered lives of survivors and co-workers of law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty.

The solemn ceremony featured performances by the Cleveland Police Flag Color Guard and Cleveland Police Pipes and Drums. WKYC 3News health correspondent Monica Robins performed “God Bless America.”
