ST. JOSEPH, MI — An Indiana family watched as charter captain Todd Brill expertly cut up the catfish they caught, while out on the water in St. Joseph.
It was their son’s first time reeling in a fish.
That fish would be their dinner.
Brill’s Gold Coast Fishing Company makes it happen, thanks to its partnership with the Michigan Catch & Cook program . The program allows customers to take their catch from a participating fishing charter into a participating restaurant , and they’ll cook it for you.
Catch & Cook is offered in waterfront towns across the state, from St. Joseph in Southwest Michigan to Toledo Beach on Lake Erie and Marquette in the U.P.
Brill has been running Gold Coast for 16 years, but he’s fished in the area his whole life. He runs charters on the St. Joseph River
