DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (WAFB) - If you ask most people what they look for in a car, they might tell you reliability, a cool exterior, maybe the newest features.

The Ford Model A’s from the 1920s and 1930s check two of those boxes, depending on who you ask.

On Monday, the Model A Ford Club went rolling down Range Avenue in Denham Springs. They meet once a month and have been doing so for quite some time now.

“This year it’ll be 59-60 years,” said Ray Parrish, club vice president.

Club members are mostly 70 years or older, some in their 90’s.

George Corse, club president, says it’s their love for life in the slow lane that keeps everyone coming back again and again.
