4-year-old seriously injured in fall out of third-floor apartment window in Boston

BOSTON —

A 4-year-old child was seriously injured Monday night when they fell out of a third-floor window of an apartment building in Boston.

Crews were called at 9:20 p.m. to the building on Evans Street in the city's Dorchester neighborhood.

The child was taken to Boston Children's Hospital, where they are listed in critical but stable condition.

The victim's name was not released.

The incident is under investigation.
