GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) — A Grand Haven church says its Pride flag is being returned after it was apparently stolen.

"Looks like our pride flag is coming back along with an apology," St. John's Episcopal Church wrote in a social media post.

The church, which is located at 524 Washington Ave. near 6th Street, said it received lots of support and several offers to replace the flag after releasing video of the alleged theft.

It happened just before 1 a.m. Saturday, according to the church. The surveillance video shows one woman unscrewing the pole, taking down both the flag and the pole, while another woman appears to take a photo or video. They then walk off screen with the flag.
