EASLEY, S.C. —
The School District of Pickens County says a student brought a knife to school Wednesday.
District officials say it happened at Crosswell Elementary School.
They say administrators were made aware that a student brought a knife to school and showed it to some classmates.
They say staff responded immediately, and the student was removed from the classroom without incident.
District officials say at no point were any students in danger.
The matter is being addressed in accordance with district policy, according to officials.
