Thursday sees our cold front stall out across our region. This system will be the spark to create more chances for showers and storms on Thursday. Morning commute should be fairly calm with heat driven scattered storms in the afternoon and evening. These storms will again be slow moving, which can lead to locally heavy rainfall, as daytime highs climb into the low 80s.
Thursday evening sees scattered showers early but as the sun goes down, any showers will gradually lose their strength. If you're heading to the Lauren Daigle concert this evening, pack something to keep you dry just in case. Cloudy skies will linger into the overnight as patchy fog develops. Expect overnight lows to drop into the 60s.
Friday, our stalled frontal boundary will slowly lose it's influence as it moves south.
