COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The Columbia Police Department said it is searching for a suspect after a chase Thursday morning.

Police confirmed they’re searching for the suspect in the area of Rosewood Drive and Beltline Boulevard. No further details were immediately available.

A WIS viewer sent photos of a vehicle that crashed into a tree in that area. It’s unclear if it was involved in the pursuit.

WIS has a crew at the scene.
