BLUEFIELD, MERCER COUNTY (WV) - A man was arrested in Mercer County after threatening a woman with a knife.

The man is 42 year old William Joshua Marrs of Bluefield. Police said the man was intoxicated when they arrived on scene on August 7th.

The woman says he forced his way into her home and threatened her with a knife. She told officers that when he came to her home, they began to argue.

She told them Marrs said quote it would be for a 'good reason' if he had to go to jail. Marrs also broke her vehicle window trying to reach her.

Marrs is currently being held at Southern Regional Jail with a $50,000 dollar bond. He is being charged with burglary, third offense domestic assault, destruction of property and public intoxication.
