TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Florida State Park Foundation provided 25 new electric bikes for state park rangers Thursday.

The distribution was made possible through a partnership between the foundation and the Great Bicycle Shop in Tallahassee.

According to a press release from the foundation , they decided to provide more e-bikes after the success of the first e-bike distribution in July 2024. This makes 50 e-bikes in total for the state, per the release.

The project is part of a greater initiative called the Greener Initiative Project by the foundation to expand environmentally friendly practices in state parks.
