A fitness fan is looking to set a new Guinness World Record after running 3km every day for the past six years.
Mridul Manoj, 23, started his huge streak aged 18 in 2019 and has run consistently for over 2,086 days since.
The keen runner, from Goole, East Yorkshire, initially wanted to complete a run every day for a year after he was inspired by a YouTuber who did the same thing.
Mridul has since run over 6,258km – which is over four times the length of the UK – through a global pandemic, on his travels, university exams, and even multiple injuries.
He has all of his runs logged on his mobile phone and is now about to send off the data to Guinness World Records with hopes of holding the most consecutive days to run 3km.
