COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has announced another round of indictments against multiple Medicaid providers statewide, including several from Greater Cleveland , on felony charges of fraud and theft.

According to a release from Yost's office, nine home-health aides and one provider of home-delivered meals are being accused "of stealing a combined $1.9 million from the government health-care program for the needy" by "allegedly billing Medicaid for services they did not provide."

Two of the defendants from Cleveland accounted for over $1.7 million of the alleged fraud.

The Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, an arm of Yost’s office, investigated the cases and secured the indictments in Franklin County Common Pleas Court.
