CONCORD, NH. (WCAX) - A driver facing charges after leading police on a chase on I-93 Friday.

New Hampshire State Police say it happened a little before midnight Friday when they saw a SUV driving northbound in Concord going 93 in a 65 mile per hour zone with no lights on.

The trooper tried to pull the driver -- 34-year-old Heather Lewis of Merrimack -- over -- but she did not stop -- so the trooper started chasing her.

Lewis continued down the highway taking Exit 17, and then driving through a steel gate, through a field on private property, where she then crashed into one of the cruisers.

Lewis is now charged with reckless conduct, resisting arrest, speeding - amongst others.

She is being held on preventive detention until her arraignment on Monday in Concord District Court.
