DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A woman was taken to the hospital after she was found stabbed by police Sunday at an apartment complex in Durham.

According to the Durham Police Department, officers reported to a stabbing call around 1 a.m. on the 4500 block of N.C. Highway 55/Apex Highway at Vivo Living Forest Hills near Interstate 40.

Upon arrival, officers said they found a woman suffering from a stab wound.

Officers said the woman was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. They said she had non-life-threatening injuries.
