A Texas couple has successfully restored an 1840s log cabin they purchased on eBay, transforming it into a short-term rental property.

Marykay Williamson, one of the owners, shared that the project took several years to complete.

"My husband loves eBay, and so he was thumbing through one time, and he found this cabin in a weird section of eBay," Williamson told KTXS .

According to the website for The Log Cabin Guest House , the cabin was moved from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, to Cisco, Texas, which is between Fort Worth and Abilene, Texas.

The couple dedicated three to four years to the restoration, ensuring they preserved as much of the original structure as possible.
