(PINPOINT WEATHER) -- A hot and humid start to the week! High temperatures topped out in the low 90s for many, with "feels like" temps around 100. An approaching front helped lead to more showers and storms as well.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be drier and a little more settled for most. After starting out with clouds and some fog for Tuesday, the trend will be increasing sun for the afternoon. Temperatures will be more seasonable, with highs in the mid and upper 80s.
On Wednesday, we'll be stuck between Hurricane Erin offshore, and a ridge of high pressure to the west. Again, our area will be largely dry, but showers and storms could once again fire up in the mountains and foothills.
