KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) - Police have made a third arrest in the shooting of a 12-year-old boy last week.
Kinston police say Calvin Warren, Jr. has been charged with four counts of attempted murder, three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, going armed to the terror of the people, 8 counts of felony conspiracy, discharging a firearm to incite fear, and discharging a firearm with city limits.
The shooting happened on August 10th in the 1700 block of Dixon Street. Police say the child was shot in the arm.
Already arrested in the case are 20-year-old Erion Strong and 18-year-old Shyawnah Harris , both of Kinston.
The 18-year-old Warren was jailed on a $500,000 secured bond.
