Gregory Etheredge has been charged with murder for his role in a shooting at a CK Mart gas station off of Broad River Road in Columbia that killed 29-year-old Deshawn Carroway on July 2.

The other suspect in the case, Desmond Coleman, remained on the run for weeks until being found and detained in Evansville, Indiana. Court records show that extradition motions for Coleman were filed on Aug. 11.
