With last month’s evaluation of West Shore Community College President Scott Ward showing him meeting expectations in most categories and exceeding expectations in others, the WSCC Board of Trustees extended his contract an additional year during their meeting on Monday, with the expiration date of his contract term now June 30, 2028.

In addition to extending Ward’s contact, trustees approved an 8.34 percent increase to his salary compensation. The following compensations stayed the same: allowance for social and community activities; reimbursement for educational expenses; annual annuity contribution; and monthly car allowance.
