BATON ROUGE, La. (KPLC) - Secretary of State Nancy Landry is informing Louisiana residents that there will be newly redesigned absentee voting envelopes, which will debut for the October 11 elections.

Voters who request an absentee ballot for that and future elections should take note of the new design of the envelopes so they can know what to expect in the mail.

“Our redesigned absentee ballot envelopes come with larger print and easier-to-read instructions,” Secretary Landry said. “These envelopes will ensure that voters more clearly understand how to vote absentee-by-mail while maintaining the stringent election security measures Louisiana deserves and expects.”
