A 42-year-old Fort Erie man has been arrested in Oxford County on drug charges following an Ontario Provincial Police investigation.

At 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, Haldimand/Norfolk OPP arrested the man on Broadway Street in Tillsonburg. Police said the man was also wanted on an outstanding Niagara Regional Police warrant.

During a search of the man, officers seized suspected cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, cash, a knife and drug-related paraphernalia.

The man was charged with three counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.
