REYNOLDS COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A 16-year-old girl was flown to a hospital after she was hurt in a single-vehicle crash.

The crash happened around 4:02 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, on County Road 752, about 7 miles north of Ellington in Reynolds County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 20-year-old Ellington man was driving north when his SUV went off the right side of the road.

MSHP said the driver overcorrected and the SUV then went off the left side of the road, hit an embankment and flipped.

The driver’s passenger, a 16-year-old Bunker girl, was flown to a St. Louis hospital with serious injuries.

MSHP said the driver reported minor injuries and was taken by a private vehicle to an Iron County hospital for treatment.
