Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, the first African American woman to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court, will present a speech at 6 p.m. Sept. 3 at N.C. A&T State University.
The event is open only to N.C. A&T students, faculty and staff and will be held in Harrison Auditorium.
Jackson, 54, is touring the nation in support of her memoir, “Lovely One,” which tells her life story culminating in her 2022 appointment to the Supreme Court.
The book has topped the New York Times bestseller list and continues to rank highly on Amazon’s Black & African American Biographies and Women’s Biographies lists.
