Police are calling for the assistance of the public after a destructive tagger has caused tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage across the city by spraying their ugly tag on anything they can reach.
The five-letter tag - which PlymouthLive is not showing images of or even naming as this would give the culprit recognition they do not deserve - has been seen across the city, on prominent road signs, on walls, roadside electric boxes, shop shutters, fences and event acid-scratched into a large store window, which had to be completely replaced as a consequence.
One Plymouth resident and environmental campaigner, who asked not to be named, told PlymouthLive he was fed-up with seeing the tags around the city and provided pictures of about 20 locations where the tags have appeared.
