Staff at a neighbourhood centre in the east end of Glasgow have been left devastated after their building was targeted by cruel vandals.
On Saturday, August 9, Reidvale Neighbourhood Centre on Whitevale Street was ransacked, leaving behind "extensive damage and a significant amount of missing equipment", according to the Housing Association's Interim Director Julie Smillie.
Police Scotland confirmed enquiries are ongoing.
Addressing the incident on their website, Julie said the level of damage will take "weeks and cost thousands of pounds to repair during a time where money is incredibly tight for a small housing association like us."
Following the attack, the housing association has been left with no choice other than to temporarily close the centre.
