LANSING, Iowa (KWWL) -- Police have identified the man who died after falling into the Mississippi River.

The victim was 63-year-old man from Brownsville, Wisconsin.

Authorities said he fell into the river will walking on the docks near S&S Houseboat Rentals just after midnight Friday morning.

His body was found by friends near where he fell in. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation continues, but no foul play is suspected.
