DELAWARE COUNTY, Ind. — A Plainfield man was arrested after an Indiana State Police chase ended in a crash in Delaware County .

Around 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, an ISP trooper was conducting routine patrol on State Road 67, near Pugsley Road, when he saw a white sedan speed past him.

The trooper tried to pull the sedan over, but police said the suspect, a 25-year-old man from Plainfield, started driving even faster.

Police said the chase continued south on State Road 67 before the suspect turned north onto County Road 800 West toward Daleville.

The suspect allegedly tried to drive onto Interstate 69 southbound, but lost control and drove off the road into a ditch.
