ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Asheville Police Department said a man was arrested for trafficking drugs following a loud noise complaint at a west Asheville apartment complex on Sunday.

Officers responded to the Pisgah View Apartment complex regarding a loud noise complaint around 8:41 p.m.

While attempting to make contact with the apartment occupant, Jonathan Lee Suttles, 31, tried to flee through the back door where another officer was waiting.

Officer said that Suttles possessed a trafficking amount of fentanyl and methamphetamine.

He was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a total bond amount of $100,000.

He is charged with the following:

Felony trafficking opium or heroin

Two counts of second-degree felony possession with intent to manufacture, sel
