FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Allen County Department of Health has temporarily closed LongHorn Steakhouse in Fort Wayne after several live cockroaches were spotted in the restaurant during an inspection on Monday.
A report provided to 21Alive News by the department shows the inspection was held following a complaint submitted on Sunday, stating a customer found a cockroach in a salad at LongHorn Steakhouse on Value Drive, off of Lima Road.
The complaining party said “the male manager working didn’t care and offered a discount for the food,” according to the report.
A second complaint submitted to the department said there were cockroaches on the kitchen food line.
