COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Columbia Water says some customers may experience service interruptions due to repairs.

The utility said Tuesday that due to water service line repairs near Trenholm Road, the following areas are also under a boil advisory:

Rockbridge Road to Lakecrest Drive

Lakecrest Drive

Portions of Arcadia Road and Rockbridge Road

Once service resumes, customers in those areas are also advised to boil water for at least one minute before drinking or cooking. Any ice used from water that has not been boiled should not be used.

The same precautions should be followed if you are in this area and have experienced a loss of water, water pressure, or discolored water. The advisory will remain in place until Columbia Water issues a repeal notification.
