(WJW / AP) - Cracker Barrel is officially sticking with its old logo, the restaurant chain announced after a revamped look was met with backlash online.

The chain took to social media Tuesday evening, thanking fans for sharing their thoughts and opinions on the simplified logo that was introduced last week.

"We said we would listen, and we have. Our new logo is going away and our 'Old Timer' will remain," restaurant officials said on X. "At Cracker Barrel, it’s always been – and always will be – about serving up delicious food, warm welcomes, and the kind of country hospitality that feels like family."

The announcement comes just one day after Cracker Barrel apologized to fans but said it would move forward with the new design.
