FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WKRG) — Three incumbents in the Fairhope City Council were able to hold on to their seats after municipal elections took place on Tuesday, Aug. 26.
Incumbent Jack Burell has won the Place 1 race for the Fairhope City Council with 2,789 votes. Troy Vickers received 2,524 votes.
In Place 2, Joshua Gammon overtook incumbent Corey Martin with 2,775 votes to 2,513 votes.
Incumbent Jimmy Conyers held on to his Place 3 seat with 3,418 votes to Tracy Gatewood's 1,857 votes.
In Place 4, incumbent Jay Robinson received 3,182 votes, winning the seat over David Luc with 1,757 votes and Howell Gibbens with 352 votes.
Andrea Faust Booth won the Place 5 seat in the Fairhope City Council with 2,973 votes to George Ferniany's 2,272 votes.
