Getting it ready for the plate is easy, but boiling is NOT the best cooking method. Stovetop steam : Place a half-inch of water in a large pot, add shucked ears, cover, and steam for 4–6 minutes.
Microwave in the husk : Leave corn in the husk, microwave on high for 3–4 minutes per ear, then peel back husks and silks.
