Edwin Shaffer Hendrickson, 90, of Preston, Idaho, passed away peacefully in Rock Springs, Wyoming on August 26th, 2025.

Born on April 9th, 1935, in Preston, Idaho to Virgil Fremont & Edith Esther Hendrickson. Edwin lived a life of faith, service and devotion to his Family, Country and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Edwin graduated from Preston High School in 1953. Two years later, in May of 1955, he served an LDS mission in the New England States and returned home in May of 1957. Two short months later, Edwin married his eternal companion, JoAnn Griffeth on July 22, 1957, in the Logan Temple. Two months after they were married, Edwin was drafted into the Army and served in Germany. Together they raised six children in a home fil
