BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Tuesday morning delivered the coolest temperatures we’ve seen in the Baton Rouge area in nearly four months, but summer makes a quick return through the remainder of the week.

WEDNESDAY FORECAST

It will be a warmer, more humid start to the day, with lows around 70 degrees. Highs climb into the low 90s, with only a slim chance of a shower or thunderstorm.

HERE COMES SUMMER...AGAIN

Our morning starts won’t be so bad through the remainder of the week, but high temperatures will run a good bit above normal for the foreseeable future.

SATURDAY NIGHT IN DEATH VALLEY

Be ready for another scorching afternoon tailgate on Saturday as highs climb into the mid 90s. It won’t be so bad for the game itself, but certainly still warm. At least there’s no threat of rain.
