HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Moderate to locally breezy trade winds are expected for the next several days, with only brief passing showers for windward and mauka areas through Monday evening.

There’s a First Alert for more clouds and showers around Tuesday into Wednesday morning as a wave of tropical moisture is set to move through the islands. There’s some uncertainty over how much rainfall, but there’s higher confidence in more showers for the eastern islands Tuesday.

In surf, a small north swell will drop Sunday, with the next swell not expected until Thursday. South shore waves will be in the waist-high range with a small medium-period swell. Typical short-period choppy waves are expected for east shores through the weekend.
