AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) - The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office confirmed a shooting at the Augusta Mall on Tuesday.

According to the Sheriff's Office, two individuals are currently in custody. The mall is closed until further notice.

The Richmond County Marshal's Office also said a shooting has occurred at the Augusta Mall, according to a Facebook post.

It reads:

"Please be advised, Shooting at the Augusta Mall. Richmond County Sheriff's Office - Georgia & Marshal’s Office on the scene. Please stay clear of the area. If you have any information contact the Sheriff’s office at 706-821-1080."

Deputies are blocking off the entrances to the mall.
