JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — An order requiring the Washington County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) to submit all body camera evidence going back three years to the First Judicial District Attorney will remain in place for now, Criminal Court Judge Stacy Street ruled Tuesday.
"I'm not trying to tell you how to do it," Street told Sexton. "I'm not trying to tell you how to collect it, I'm not telling you how to store it, I'm not telling you how to turn it over. All I'm saying is do it and turn it over." Street rejected a motion and oral arguments by Washington County Attorney Allyson Wilkinson that claimed the order was overly broad and vague, as well as unconstitutional.
