FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man in his 20s was shot in a drive-by shooting Tuesday night in south Fresno, according to the Fresno Police Department.

Police say the man was in the area of Lyell Avenue and Hazelwood Boulevard when someone in a vehicle drove by and fired at the victim several times, hitting him at least once in the lower body.

The man was taken to Community Regional Medical Center. His condition is unknown.
