FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A woman officers say stole someone's purse and used its contents to try to break into the purse-owner's Fresno home is now wanted, police say.
On Aug. 2, just after 2 a.m., police say 49-year-old Jennifer Michelle Garza assaulted a woman and stole her purse in the area of North Vagedes and West Clinton avenues in Fresno. Inside were the victim’s house keys and credit cards.
Police say the woman later used the keys to try to get inside the victim’s home. According to officers, she also used the woman's credit cards as well.
Garza is now wanted for multiple charges, including robbery and unauthorized use of a credit card, police say.
