A man has been charged with conspiring to murder another man after a shooting at a car park in Coventry .

The shooting took place in a car park in Far Gosford Street in the city centre in the early hours of Saturday, September 13.

The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

Mohammed Ali Khan, 31, Branksome Road, Coventry was arrested on Tuesday, September 23.

He was charged with conspiracy to murder and was due to appear before magistrates today, Friday, September 26.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We’ve charged a man with conspiracy to murder after a shooting in Coventry.

“A man was taken to hospital in the early hours of September 13 with a gunshot wound.
