MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The public is invited to be a part of what's next for the closed Peppertree Apartments.

Tuesday evening, the city of Memphis is holding a community meeting in Whitehaven to discuss redeveloping the shutdown property.

The WREG Investigators spent years exposing the dangerous living conditions there. In the summer of 2022, the second floor walkway collapsed, sending two people, including a child, to the hospital.

Tuesday's meeting will take place at the Alpha Memphis Education Foundation, 4122 Barton Drive, Memphis, TN 38116, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
