NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - We continue to monitor two spots in the Atlantic with the central tropical area seeing up upped chances for possible development and the spot closest to us is holding tight at lower chances.

The National Hurricane Center says that "a weak area of low pressure located near the central northwestern Bahamas is producing disorganized shower activity" as its expected to travel west-northwestward across the northwestern Bahamas and closer to southern Florida over the next few days.
