LAFAYETTE, LA. (KLFY) -- The Ragin Cajun Homecoming, a tradition over 125 years old, culminated in a vibrant parade featuring student-created floats despite the rain.
Skylar Ortega, Tri Sigma's Vice President, explained how throughout the week, student organizations participated in various events and dedicated significant time to crafting their unique floats to bring in the homecoming spirit.
"I know one of our chapter members has over 170 hours just spent on pomping and gluing," Ortega said.
The Ragin Cajun 2025 Homecoming King, Sean Meyers, shared how impactful the homecoming spirit is to the student body and Lafayette residents.
