WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - An entry from the Metropolitan Area Building and Construction Department shows an application from The Cheesecake Factory to build a restaurant in east Wichita.

The application was filed for 2020 N. Rock Road in Bradley Fair. The address used to be the home of Outback Steakhouse, but it was demolished in 2022.

The Wichita Business Journal was the first to report the news. 12 News has confirmed the application with the Building and Construction Department.

The construction is valued at $3 million. The description of work includes “construction of a new one-story steel frame structure with the tenant fit-out for a new restaurant, bar, patio dining and a commercial kitchen.”
